App Review Testing Instructions

GlowNote is an anonymous compliment-sharing app. The main functionality requires interaction between two users because users cannot send compliments to themselves.

To test the app:

Launch the app.
Create a nickname on Device A.
Open the profile or home screen and copy the invitation link or username.
Open the invitation link on Device B, or use another browser/device.
Send an anonymous compliment to Device A.
Return to Device A and open the Inbox tab to view the compliment.
Tap the Report button on a compliment to test reporting and sender blocking.

No account registration, email, password, subscription, or special credentials are required to use or test GlowNote.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I receive compliments?

Share your personal GlowNote invitation link with friends. Compliments sent through your link will appear in your Inbox.

Why is my Inbox empty?

Compliments can only be sent by another user. Users cannot send compliments to themselves.

How do I reset my profile?

Open the Profile tab and tap "Reset Profile". This allows you to start over with a new profile and invitation link.

How do I report inappropriate content?

Use the Report button in the Inbox or contact support at glownote1@protonmail.com.

How does blocking work?

When a user reports a compliment, the compliment is removed from the Inbox and the anonymous sender is blocked from sending future compliments to that reporting user.

How do I unblock a sender?

Because compliments are anonymous, sender blocks are managed by support. If you believe a sender was blocked by mistake, contact glownote1@protonmail.com and we can review the block.

How do I request data deletion?

You can reset your profile directly in the app using the "Reset Profile" button. If you need additional assistance, contact support at glownote1@protonmail.com.

No harassment, threats, hate speech, sexual content, or spam.
Users can report inappropriate content from within the app.
Reported content is removed from the user’s inbox and reviewed when necessary.
Reported senders may be blocked from sending future compliments to the reporting user.
